While reports ahead of the fixture suggested that Ravichandran Ashwin could play against England, Team India haven't made included him and have gone with the one that beat New Zealand. As the only unbeaten side in the tournament, the Men in Blue will want to continue that run against England.
England skipper Jos Buttler also stated that he is playing the same team, but wants to put on a better performance than what they have in the past 4 matches. A loss in Lucknow might in all likelihood mean that the defending champions will finish the 2023 World Cup at the bottom of the table.
