Team India opener Abhishek Sharma's sister Komal and his mother hugged him after his record-breaking innings against England in the fifth and final T20I at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. In a heartwarming video surfaced on social media, Abhishek's sister Komal ran into him with affection to greet her brother.
The left-handed batter several records tumbling as he hardly spared any England bowler on the night after Jos Buttler won the toss and opted to bowl first. His 135 proved to be the highest individual score by an Indian in T20Is and struck 13 clean sixes during his 54-ball stay. The youngster's knock propelled the Men in Blue to 247/9 and they eventually won by 150 runs to close out the series 4-1.

At the post-match presentation, the southpaw highlighted that the coach and captain deserve plenty of credit for backing him to the hilt and said:
"It's a special one, coming for the country, always a great feeling. When I see it's my day, I always try to go from the first ball. And the way the coach and the captain have treated me from the first day. They've always wanted this intent, they've always backed me. When the opponents are bowling 140, 150-plus, you have to be ready a little earlier. Just react to the ball and play my shots."
The two sides will next meet in the ODI series, beginning on February 6.
