In a heavy shower in the Hinjawadi IT Park area in Pune, waterlogging was reported on Thursday, leading to difficulties for commuters and techies alike.
The infrastructure woes of the Hinjawadi area have once again hit the headlines this year, with visuals of waterlogging on June 7 going viral, showing a PMPML bus submerged halfway in water.
Hinjawadi is facing persistent waterlogging, with techies demanding work from home to avoid difficulties in reaching offices.

Meanwhile, water has been released into the Mutha River from the Khadakwasla dam due to continuous rainfall in the catchment areas of dams supplying water to Pune. Waterlogging was also reported in areas like Sinhagad Road, Dhayari, and Kothrud.
The Khadakwasla cluster now has 25.39 percent water, which was at 12.43 percent on the same day last year.
Khadakwasla is at 64.75 percent, Varasgaon at 28.65 percent, Panshet at 20.28 percent, and Temghar at 7.85 percent. Meanwhile, Mulshi is at 24.86 percent, Kasarsai at 55.85 percent, and Pavna at 35.34 percent.
