VIDEO: 5 Youngsters Stop Traffic On Pune-Bangalore Highway To Shoot Reel, Booked

Five youngsters were caught red-handed for blocking traffic on the Pune-Bangalore National Highway near Satara city to shoot photos, videos, and Instagram reels of a new car using a drone. Among them is a minor, and police have seized the drone involved.

A case has been registered against Om Praveen Jadhav (21), Kushal Subhash Kadam (20), Soham Mahesh Shinde (20), and Nikhil Damodar Mahangade (27). The incident took place near Bombay Restaurant Chowk flyover, where they halted passing vehicles, causing traffic chaos and fear among drivers.

New car gets youth in trouble

Om Jadhav had recently bought a new car and, along with his friends, was shooting photos and drone videos on the highway. They later edited and posted the content on social media, which quickly went viral.

Local drivers reported the situation to Satara city police. After identifying the group from their social media post, the Crime Suppression Squad and Highway Police located and detained the suspects.

Further investigation is being done under the guidance of Police Inspector Rajendra Maske and Assistant Police Inspector Shamrao Kale.

Recently, in a shocking incident in Satara's Patan taluka, a car plunged into a 300-ft valley while the driver was reportedly performing a risky stunt for an Instagram reel.

The incident took place on Wednesday at 4 pm in the Sadawaghapur area. The driver has been identified as Sahil Jadhav (20, resident of Goleshwar, Karad), was seriously injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment.

Video goes viral

A video of the incident has surfaced. The video shows the car losing control in between of the stunt and suddenly falling into the valley. The person shooting the video can be heard reacting in shock as the vehicle falls down the valley.
