In a shocking news from the Pimpri Chinchwad area of Pune, a horrifying incident has come to light in which a woman, who had gone to work the night shift at a company in Chakan MIDC, was dragged to a secluded spot and raped.
As per the report by Saam TV, the incident took place around 11 PM on Tuesday, May 13, in the Medankarwadi area of Chakan.

According to the information provided by the police, the 27-year-old woman, who works as a helper at the company, had left for her night shift and reached near the company premises. At that time, the accused — identified as Prakash Bhangre — followed her, forcibly stopped her, and dragged her to a deserted area behind a nearby school. While trying to resist, the woman attempted to scream and even bit the accused, but he overpowered her. He then allegedly raped her, assaulted her, and threatened to kill her if she spoke about the incident.
The police took immediate action and arrested the accused within 24 hours. The case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
