Parbhani: Students Lead ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Cycle Rally In Grand Display Of Patriotism | Sourced

Parbhani: The district administration and school education department organised the students’ ‘Tiranga Cycle Rally’ under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative on Tuesday. The rally was flagged off at Indira Gandhi Stadium by Additional District Collector Dr Pratap Kale. Another Tiranga cycle rally was organised by the municipal corporation at Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk, where Chief Accounts Officer Dr Prabhakar Kaldate flagged off the event. Students and residents participated in large numbers.

The rally from the stadium passed through Visava Corner, Gandhi Park, Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk, Janta Market, Grand Corner, and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, and concluded at the district sports complex. Participants shouted various patriotic slogans during the rally.

Traffic Branch PI Waman Bele, Principal P. R. Jadhav, Sports Officer Kalyan Pole, Sanjay Munde, Suyash Natkar, and other dignitaries were present. Students from Gandhi College, Bhatiya Bal Vidya Mandir, Dr Zakir Hussain College, Kho-Kho Training Centre, and other institutes participated. Volunteers Dhirat Naikwade, Yogesh Adme, Bhagwat Dudhare, Prakash Pandit, and others contributed to the success of the event.

The municipal corporation rally started from Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk and passed through Gandhi Park, Narayan Chal, Visava Corner, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue, Vasmat Road, and Rajagopalachari Garden. A patriotic songs programme was organised in the garden after the rally. Municipal Commissioner Dharyasheel Jadhav appealed to citizens to hoist the tricolour on their houses between August 13 and 15.
