Though the matter seemed settled at first, another fight broke out shortly after. In a fit of anger, the two classmates allegedly beat Yashraj badly inside the school premises. He collapsed on the spot.

A shocking incident took place in the Satpur area where a Class 10 student was beaten to death by two classmates over a dispute about sitting on a bench. The deceased student has been identified as Yashraj Tukaram Gangurde, aged 16. The Satpur police have registered a case and taken both the minor accused into custody.
According to police information, the incident happened on Wednesday. Yashraj had an argument with two classmates regarding sitting on a bench. Though the matter seemed settled at first, another fight broke out shortly after. In a fit of anger, the two classmates allegedly beat Yashraj badly inside the school premises. He collapsed on the spot.
Yashraj was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. The tragic death has caused shock and anger in the local community.
Family in Grief
Yashraj was known to be good in studies and had a friendly nature. He had lost his father during the Corona pandemic and was living with his family, who had high hopes for his future. His family is deeply shocked that his own friends could harm him like this over such a small issue.
The case is being investigated further by Satpur police.
Earlier in April, condom packets, knives, playing cards and several other objectionable items were found in the backpacks of students studying in Classes 7 to 10 at a school in Ghoti. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

Speaking to the media, the school's vice principal had stated that the items were discovered during an inspection drive. "The objectionable items found in the children's backpacks were not discovered all at once. Different items have been found in the bags of different students over the past several days. To discourage students from developing criminal tendencies, we check their backpacks every day," the vice principal had said.
