Nashik Airport Records 34,349 Passenger Footfall In March

In 2023-24, 2,42,372 passengers travelled from Nashik Airport. In 2024-25, 3,41,112 passengers travelled, showing an increase of 40.7%

IndiGo Airlines' flight service from Ozar Airport in Nashik is receiving a good response from passengers, with as many as 34,349 passengers travelling in March alone. Last year, 22,269 passengers travelled through the airport in March. This year, passenger volume has increased by 54.2%.

In 2023-24, 2,42,372 passengers travelled from Nashik Airport. In 2024-25, 3,41,112 passengers travelled, showing an increase of 40.7%. 

From Ozar Airport, IndiGo provides services to cities such as New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Indore and Goa. Although the service was suspended for some time due to the ongoing work at Nagpur Airport, it has received a good response from passengers. Nashik is currently also doing well in air traffic due to connecting flights to 38 international cities. 

The cargo service running from Ozar Airport is also getting a good response. In March alone, 662MT of goods have been transported through cargo. This includes 13.6MT of domestic cargo and 649MT of international cargo. In March 2024, 188MT of cargo was transported internationally through cargo.

"Nashik's air services are receiving a good response, and the number of passengers is continuously increasing compared to last year. This is definitely a good thing for Nashik and will help Nashik's air transport services become more dynamic," said Manish Rawal, chairman, Aviation Committee, NIMA, Nashik.
