Haryana Govt Signs Historic MoU With Naveen Jindal Foundation To Transform Mahatma Jyotiba Phule ITI Into Women-Focused Skill Development Centre
In a landmark move to accelerate skill development in Haryana, the Government of Haryana and the Naveen Jindal Foundation today signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). As part of this agreement, the management of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Bahlolpur, Ladwa, has been officially handed over to the Naveen Jindal Foundation.

Chandigarh, June 3, 2025: In a landmark move to accelerate skill development in Haryana, the Government of Haryana and the Naveen Jindal Foundation today signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). As part of this agreement, the management of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Bahlolpur, Ladwa, has been officially handed over to the Naveen Jindal Foundation.
The MoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, Kurukshetra MP Shri Naveen Jindal, and Hisar MLA Smt. Savitri Jindal. The agreement was formally executed on behalf of the government by Additional Chief Secretary Shri Bijender Singh and Managing Director of the Skill Development & Industrial Training Department, Captain Manoj Kumar.
Under its flagship ‘Naveen Avsar Program’, the Naveen Jindal Foundation will transform the ITI into a modern, industry-aligned, and women-focused world-class skill development centre. The centre will offer high-quality, practical, and technology-driven training designed to make youth, especially women, job-ready and self-reliant.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini stated: “This partnership will place Haryana at the forefront of skill development and connect our youth with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. MP Naveen Jindal’s commitment to empowering the next generation is truly inspiring.”
MP Shri Naveen Jindal added: “This is not just a transfer of an institution—it is a transformative step towards providing dignity, opportunity, and empowerment to our youth, particularly women. We envision every trainee here to not only build a strong personal future but also contribute meaningfully to nation-building.”
