Vasai-Virar News: Builder Ends Life In Nalasopara, Alleges Harassment By Moneylenders & Cops In Suicide Note
Preliminary investigation revealed that the builder had borrowed Rs 32 lakh from a private moneylender. Over the past few months, his family said he appeared increasingly anxious and distressed. His daughter told police that two constables had been visiting their home frequently, pressuring her father to repay the loan.

Mumbai: A 64-year-old builder from Nalasopara East was found dead by suicide at his residence on Tuesday, leaving behind a note in which he accused moneylenders and two police constables of mentally harassing him over a private loan.
Builder Hangs Himself To Death
According to officials at Achole police station, the builder, whose name has not been disclosed, hanged himself at his home. The body was discovered by his daughter on Tuesday morning, who immediately alerted the authorities.

Police said that the suicide note recovered from the scene explicitly names the two constables accused of abetting the harassment. Senior Police Inspector Sujeet Kumar Pawar of Achole police station confirmed that an Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered and that the matter is under active investigation. Further legal action will be determined based on forensic analysis of the note and statements recorded from the family and witnesses.
