RSS Founder Hedgewar Biopic Set For Release; Yogi Adityanath Film Faces Censor Delay

A film on the life of RSS founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar will be soon released all over India. The trailer will be on August 1. The Sangh Parivar is arranging for special screening of the movie nationwide. The release of the film coincides with the 100th birth anniversary of the RSS.

Aggrieved by this, the producer had moved Bombay High Court which directed the Board to expedite the matter. Many in the BJP find it odd that Board, which is under the BJP govt at the Centre, did not clear the film based on the life of a BJP CM. The Board is likely to effect some cuts.
