Rotary Club of Bombay Ananda Yaan Completes 8 Happy Years Of Service
Members birthdays are celebrated and offsites, picnics are organised. A doctor visits them every month, medicines are provided free of charge and cataract surgeries are organized free of charge.

Mumbai: The Ananda Yaan Elder Day Care project of the Rotary Club of Bombay and Dignity Foundation completed eight years of service to the underprivileged elders of Central Mumbai today."What began as a dream is now a thriving project with three centres in Byculla, E.Moses Rd. and Mazgaon," Says Kaushal Mehta Chairman Ananda Yaan Committee.
"The idea was to bring a ray of happiness into the lives of the underprivileged seniors living in cramped homes in Central Mumbai,"adds Alok Sekhsaria the first Chairman of this Committee.
The program operates five days a week in the afternoon, and the elders have yoga, zumba, antaksharis.

"There is a big clamour to set up a fourth centre. We are looking for space
and so the journey to happiness continues,"Madhusudan Daga who was involved in setting up Ananda Yaan said.
