Raigad: Minister Aditi Tatkare Inaugurates Digitally Upgraded Schools In Mhasla; Promises Expansion To Tribal Areas

The schools — Zilla Parishad School Savar, Rajip Urdu School, and PM Shri Primary Marathi School Mhasla No. 1 — have been equipped with enhanced facilities such as digital boards, computers, printers, CCTV cameras, clean restrooms, electricity, water supply, benches, fans, and fresh infrastructure with attractive painting.

Three digitally upgraded primary schools in the Mhasla Municipal Council area were inaugurated by Maharashtra Women and Child Welfare Minister Aditi Tatkare, marking a significant step towards modernizing rural education. The upgrades were carried out through the CSR funding of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) with support from MP Sunil Tatkare.

The schools — Zilla Parishad School Savar, Rajip Urdu School, and PM Shri Primary Marathi School Mhasla No. 1 — have been equipped with enhanced facilities such as digital boards, computers, printers, CCTV cameras, clean restrooms, electricity, water supply, benches, fans, and fresh infrastructure with attractive painting. "The aim is to bring government-run schools on par with private institutions in terms of quality and technology," said spokesperson from Raigad administration.

During the inauguration, Minister Aditi Tatkare highlighted that education must go beyond academics and include elements of spirituality, tradition, and culture to shape a strong and value-based next generation. She expressed her satisfaction at seeing the joy on the faces of students, alumni, and parents, calling it a moment of fulfillment.

The ceremony was attended by Mhasla Municipal Council President Sanjay Karnik, Vice President Sanjay Divekar, senior leader Ankush Khadas, Muslim community leader Nazim Chogle, Sub-Divisional Officer Mahesh Patil, Chief Officer Vitthal Rathod, Group Education Officer Ramesh Chavan, and Police Inspector Sandeep Kahale, among others.

Minister Tatkare also announced that more schools in Mhasla, including those in tribal hamlets, will soon be digitally upgraded. She urged teachers to make effective use of the modern facilities and encouraged efforts to increase student enrollment, ensuring that the benefits of digital learning reach every child.
