Panvel Municipal Corporation Holds 'Lokshahi Din' To Address Civic Grievances, Issues Immediate Directives

Navi Mumbai: To ensure timely redressal of public grievances and promote dialogue between citizens and the administration, the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) conducted a ‘Lokshahi Din’ meeting at its headquarters on Monday.

Municipal Commissioner Chairs Monthly Grievance Meeting

The meeting, chaired by Municipal Commissioner Mangesh Chitale, addressed four applications related to civic amenities, urban development, and ward-level concerns. Immediate directives were issued to the respective departments for quick resolution of the issues raised.

Senior PMC Officials Present to Ensure Accountability

Officials present at the meeting included Transport Department Manager Kailas Gawade, Chief Accounts Officer Mangesh Gawade, City Engineer Sanjay Katekar, Executive Engineer Sudhir Sanlukhe, Building Inspector Rajesh Kardile, Solid Waste Department Head Anil Kokre, and Chief Public Relations Officer Dr. Raju Patodkar, among others.

'Lokshahi Din' Held Monthly to Promote Public Participation

As part of its commitment to participatory governance, PMC organizes ‘Lokshahi Din’ on the first Monday of every month. Citizens are encouraged to submit their applications to the designated coordinators at least fifteen days in advance and to be present on the day of the event for discussion and resolution of their grievances.
