Navi Mumbai Tragedy: 25-Year-Old Youth Jumps Off In Rabale Pond, Takes His Life; Video Captured On CCTV
A 26-year-old man, Ashpak Mushtaq Ahmed, committed suicide by jumping into Rabale Lake in Navi Mumbai, with the incident captured on CCTV. Search operations by the fire brigade initially failed, but his body was recovered on Wednesday morning after resuming the search.

Navi Mumbai: A 25-year-old youth took his own life by leaping into Rabale lake, with the incident recorded on CCTV in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon. The fire brigade attempted to locate his body on Tuesday but was unsuccessful; however, they succeeded in finding the youth’s body during the search operation that resumed on Wednesday morning.
The young man who took his own life is Ashpak Mushtaq Ahmed (26 years old). Ashpak resides in Bhim Nagar located in the Navi Mumbai MIDC region. He took his own life by leaping into the lake situated along the Thane-Belapur highway. This event has been recorded on CCTV.
This lake has been enhanced, and a pathway has been constructed around it for morning strolls, along with another roadway adjacent to it. Ashpak remained on this ledge for a while. And abruptly, sprinting quickly, he leaped from the safety barrier of the pond. After roaming for a while, he ultimately vanished.
Upon getting word about this, the Rabale MIDC police and Airoli fire brigade arrived at the location. The fire department put in significant effort to look for him, but he was not located. When the search operation started again this morning, his body was discovered around 10 am.
