Navi Mumbai Traffic Police Impose Road Restrictions For Marathon On March 9; Check Routes And Timings

Navi Mumbai Traffic Police have imposed temporary road restrictions for a marathon scheduled on Sunday from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. The event, organized by Vishal Teknotronics Company, is expected to witness participation from 3,000 to 3,500 runners competing in the 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km categories.
The marathon will begin and conclude at Mindspace (East), covering key locations such as Times of India Junction, Thane-Belapur Road, Siemens Company, MIDC Road, Bhimnagar, Worli Pada Garden, Gavali Dev, and Majestic Court Hotel. To ensure a smooth event, one side of Thane-Belapur Road (Mindspace to Siemens Company) will be barricaded, while the Siemens Company to Majestic Court Hotel route via MIDC will be completely closed to all vehicular traffic.
As per orders issued by the Navi Mumbai Traffic Department, all vehicles are prohibited from using or parking on the restricted roads during marathon hours. “Commuters are advised to take alternative routes via Majestic Court Hotel and Siemens Company to avoid disruptions,” stated a traffic notification.
