Navi Mumbai News: BNHS To Host Final Flamingo Birdwatching Walk Of Season At Nerul’s TS Chanakya Wetlands On May 25
Nature enthusiasts have a final opportunity this season to witness the striking sight of flamingos before they depart for their nesting grounds, as the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) organizes a guided birdwatching walk along the wetland habitats near TS Chanakya on Palm Beach Road, Nerul.

Navi Mumbai: Nature enthusiasts have a final opportunity this season to witness the striking sight of flamingos before they depart for their nesting grounds, as the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) organizes a guided birdwatching walk along the wetland habitats near TS Chanakya on Palm Beach Road, Nerul.
The walk, set for an easy 2–3 km stretch, will take participants through one of Navi Mumbai’s richest wetland bird habitats. The event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., with participants gathering at the underpass entrance in front of TS Chanakya, and will conclude by 10:45 a.m.
The walk offers a rare opportunity to observe the seasonal flamingos in their natural surroundings, alongside other avian species, guided by BNHS experts.
Participation charges are Rs. 700 for BNHS members and Rs. 800 for non-members. The fee covers BNHS guidance and any applicable entry or permission charges.
