Mumbai Tragedy: 84-Year-Old Man Killed By Speeding Motorcycle In Bandra While Walking To Mosque
The deceased, Abdul Karim Mohammad Momin (84), a resident of Madamwadi in Bandra West, was on his way to offer evening prayers at the Sunni Jama Masjid around 6 PM when the incident occurred. While walking past Riyaz Restaurant, he was struck from behind by a speeding motorcyclist.

Mumbai: An 84-year-old man was killed after being hit by a speeding motorcycle while walking on the road in Bandra on Tuesday evening.
The deceased, Abdul Karim Mohammad Momin (84), a resident of Madamwadi in Bandra West, was on his way to offer evening prayers at the Sunni Jama Masjid around 6 PM when the incident occurred. While walking past Riyaz Restaurant, he was struck from behind by a speeding motorcyclist.
Momin sustained severe injuries in the accident and was initially taken to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra. He was later shifted to Lilavati Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment that night.
Following the incident, Bandra Police registered a case against the motorcyclist, identified as Arafat Mohammad Sameer Shaikh (19), under Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act and Sections 106(1) and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
