Mumbai: Santacruz Police Books 5-6 Individuals For Allegedly Kidnapping Comedian Sunil Pal
The case filed by the Santacruz police has been transferred to the Meerut police station. Sunil Pal was abducted from a dhaba in Haridwar, kept as a hostage for two days. Pal managed to secure his release by paying a ransom of Rs 20 lakh.

The Santacruz police have registered a case against five to six unidentified people for allegedly abducting comedian Sunil Pal during an event in Haridwar and extorting Rs 8 lakh from him.
The case filed by the Santacruz police has been transferred to the Meerut police station. Sunil Pal was abducted from a dhaba in Haridwar, kept as a hostage for two days. Pal managed to secure his release by paying a ransom of Rs 20 lakh.
The police registered the case after four days. Meanwhile, the Santacruz police summoned Pal to the police station on Friday and recorded his statement.
