Mumbai News: Major Fire Breaks Out At Bonanza Industrial Estate In Kandivali; Blaze Doused, No Injuries Reported
A fire broke out in a gala located on the first floor at Bonanza Industrial Estate in Kandivali (W) on Saturday morning. The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) and other agencies brought the blaze under control and no injuries were reported in the incident, confirmed the fire officials.

Mumbai: A fire broke out in a gala located on the first floor at Bonanza Industrial Estate in Kandivali (W) on Saturday morning. The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) and other agencies brought the blaze under control and no injuries were reported in the incident, confirmed the fire officials.
A fire broke out around 7 am on Saturday at a ground-plus-two storey industrial estate on Ashok Chakravarti Road in Kandivali (W). According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the blaze was confined to a gala on the first floor and led to the area being engulfed in dense smoke. Immediate firefighting efforts were launched using three small hose lines and one high-pressure line.
The MFB, along with the R South ward civic team, local police, and ambulance services, responded to the blaze. The operation involved six fire engines, two fire tenders, six jumbo tankers, two additional water tankers, a breathing apparatus van, and two quick response vehicles.
Initially declared a Level-I fire at 7:06 a.m., it was escalated to Level-II by 7:33 a.m. Firefighters managed to surround the blaze by 12:47 p.m., and it was fully extinguished by 3:15 p.m.
A fire official said, “Since the incident occurred early in the morning before business hours, no injuries were reported. The exact cause of the fire will be determined after a thorough investigation.”
