On August 3, at 02:02 am, BMC's Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) reported a house collapse at Madanpura Post Office Building, Byculla West; the 1st and 3rd floors fell.

Mumbai: On August 3, at the late-night hours around 02:02 am, BMC's Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) reported a house collapse at Madanpura Post Office Building, Byculla West. The 1st and 3rd floor back portions of a vacated C1 category MHADA building (G+3 structure) collapsed.
By the next day morning of August 4 at around 11:36 am, the entire building was reported collapsed with no injuries. Agencies involved include BMC's MFB, Police, 108 Ambulance, and MHADA staff. Rescue and relief operations are ongoing in the area.
