Amid the massive uproar by citizens, nature lovers and social organizations against the proposal of axing thousands of trees to build a car shed for the Metro-9 Rail in Dongri village near Uttan, this Indian Golden Oriole- a beautiful bird with vibrant yellow plumage was spotted at the proposed construction site.

Mira-Bhaynadar: Amid the massive uproar by citizens, nature lovers and social organizations against the proposal of axing thousands of trees to build a car shed for the Metro-9 Rail in Dongri village near Uttan, this Indian Golden Oriole- a beautiful bird with vibrant yellow plumage was spotted at the proposed construction site.
Little does the Golden Oriole realize that the overshooting branches of the tree on which it was perched had been marked (numbered) to be axed.
