ISKCON Chowpatty’s Janmashtami Seva: Lord Krishna Adorned In 'Kṛṣṇa Smaraṇam' Dress Of Devotion And Storytelling

This Janmashtmi at ISKCON Chowpatty, Lord Krishna is adorned in an unique “Kṛṣṇa Smaraṇam” dress—woven with devotion and storytelling. Traditional Rajasthani chatapati patchwork bursts with many colors, each piece outlined in shimmering gold zardozi embroidery and encrusted with radiant Swarovski gems.

Across the fabric, sacred motifs appear—the butter pot, blue lotus, flute, peacock feather, kadamba blossom, honey bee, and kaustubha jewel—each drawn from moments when saints and lovers  of Kṛiṣhṇa saw these simple forms and remembered him.
