Mumbai: Supriya Sule, a leader from the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction), expressed her frustration regarding the mandatory three-language formula in Maharashtra, questioning why it is enforced here when states like Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Orissa do not have the same requirement, particularly regarding the teaching of Hindi from the first grade.

During her visit to the Free Press Journal office, she discussed various issues, including her recent representation for India abroad. Sule emphasized the importance of prioritising the nation, state, party and family when engaging in foreign relations amidst global conflicts. She noted that the Indian community abroad showed a strong appreciation for historical figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi during their discussions.
