Telugu superstar Prabhas has once again proven his generosity, this time by extending financial support to veteran actor Fish Venkat, who is currently undergoing treatment for a critical kidney condition. Reportedly, he has pledged to offer Rs 50 lakh.
Fish Venkat, whose real name is Venkat Raj, is a well-known face in Telugu cinema, celebrated for his comedic and villainous roles in films like Adhurs, Gabbar Singh, Khaidi No. 150, and Shivam. He was last seen in Coffee with a Killer.
According to a report in One India, Venkat’s daughter, revealed the gravity of his condition and the need for urgent help.
Fish Venkat's condition critical
“Daddy is very unwell and in a serious condition. He's in the ICU and requires a kidney transplant, which will cost us at least Rs 50 lakh. Prabhas’ assistant reached out to us and assured us of financial support. They asked us to keep them informed when the transplant takes place so they can cover the cost,” she said.
She also made an emotional appeal to other top stars of Telugu cinema, many of whom have shared screen space with her father over the years.
'Please help my father'
"Be it Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, or Jr NTR, I hope they help us find a donor for my father. He has worked in such good films with all of them. No one seems to care about him now. I request everyone to please help my father," she added.
