TMC Announces 24-Hour Water Cut In Kalwa, Mumbra And Diva On February 7 Due To Pipeline Repair Work

Thane: The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced a 24-hour water cut Kalwa, Mumbra and Diva on Friday, February 7 owing to maintenance and repair work on the Barvi gravity pipeline.

TMC advised residents in these areas to store water and make arrangements accordingly.

"Urgent maintenance and repair work will be carried out on the Barvi gravity pipeline of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation's water supply project from Katai Naka to Mukund. As a result, the water supply will be shut off for 24 hours in the Kalwa, Diva, and Mumbra areas of the Thane Municipal Corporation area from 12:00 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2025, to 12:00 AM on Friday, February 7, 2025. After the repair work is completed, water supply will be at low pressure for the next few hours," TMC said in a tweet on X (formerly Twitter).

Particularly affected areas are SEEPZ MIDC, LBS Road, Bandra Terminus, International Airport Road Civic wards like S (Bhandup), L (Kurla), K East (Andheri East), H East (Bandra East), and G North (Sion, Matunga) will face water cut.
