On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya 2025, the Mumbadevi Temple in Mumbai celebrated with a vibrant ‘Aam Mahotsav’, adorning the deity’s altar with over 1,000 dozen Alphonso (Hapus) mangoes, which were later distributed as prasad to devotees.
Marking the Eknath Diamond Health Year, social initiatives added further meaning to the festival. Karuna Seva Trust, in collaboration with the Shiv Sena Medical Help Room, distributed essential items to 250 blind children. The trust has also been consistently providing food to relatives of patients in the Tata Cancer Hospital area for the last two-and-a-half years.
Additionally, Aman Prem Sanstha hosted a three-day event for visually impaired children from across India, featuring cultural programmes, science activities, and sports events, making this Akshaya Tritiya not only a celebration of prosperity but also of compassion and inclusion.
