Joining her were her daughter Isha Ambani Piramal and her granddaughter Aadiya Shakti, as the trio immersed themselves in a night that blended food and culture. Nita Ambani sampled an array of India-inspired dishes specially crafted by Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna, who is known for taking Indian cuisine to global heights. One particular dish, a pani puri stuffed with caramelized pineapple, earned her enthusiastic praise: “Delicious!”, she was heard saying in a video shared on NMACC's Instagram.

But the most heartwarming moment of the evening came when Nita Ambani was invited to dance. Welcomed with petals and a classical dance performance, the trained dancer was gently urged by the artists to join them.
Holding her granddaughter in her arms at the time, she passed little Aadiya to Isha before gracefully stepping in for a brief performance. The audience, including Vikas Khanna himself, was visibly moved. The chef was seen wiping away tears as he watched the deeply personal and cultural moment unfold in his restaurant.
The visit also served a more official purpose. As founder of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), Nita helped finalize the menu for the upcoming NMACC India Weekend in New York. With Vikas Khanna at the culinary helm, the event promises to be a tasteful tribute to India’s rich food heritage on a global stage.
