The instructions were given during the third meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Simhastha 2028, held at the Mantralaya.
The Chief Minister stressed that there must be no delay in construction and infrastructure work, and that planning should be completed during the rainy season to make sure work starts on time after monsoon.
Shortage of staff to be fixed
CM Yadav also pointed out that many departments, like Ujjain Municipal Corporation and Ujjain Development Authority, are facing a shortage of technical staff.
He ordered that these gaps be filled by bringing in officers from other departments on deputation, so that work does not slow down due to lack of manpower.
Out of the 101 projects worth ₹9,186 crore planned for Simhastha 2028, only a few have moved forward, while most are still in early planning stages.
