Narrow Escape! Police Vehicle Hit By Speeding Truck On Indore-Betma Road, Officer Injured

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A police vehicle was hit by a speeding truck near Indore-Betma road on Friday afternoon, leaving an Indore police officer injured and the vehicle badly damaged. 

The collision was so intense that the car flipped and landed in a nearby field. One police personnel was injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital in Dhar district.

According to police, “The incident occurred near the bridge at Ghata Billaud. Here, a truck hit an Eeco car with great force. Due to the speed, the car crossed over to the other side of the road and overturned in a field.”

The driver was pulled out of the vehicle after the crash. He lay injured for some time before being taken to the Dhar hospital by ambulance.

Investigation underway 

Police officials further informed that the damaged vehicle belongs to an officer from the Indore Police Commissioner’s office. Fortunately, no officer was inside the car at the time of the accident, which averted a major tragedy. 

The injured police officer is currently undergoing treatment in Dhar. His identity has not been revealed yet. The accident occurred near the border of Betma and Dhar. 

Betma police are investigating the case.
