Mahidpur (Madhya Pradesh): An FIR was registered against Maulana Turab Ali in Ujjain's Mahidpur district, for posting 'controversial religious videos' on social media, on Monday.
The complaint was filed by Manoj Prajapat, the state vice-president of Akhand Hindu Sena, who alleged that the videos hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community.
According to informatiom, the controversy began when Turab Ali shared two videos on his Facebook account featuring Pakistani Maulanas discussing cow sacrifice during Eid.

Following the complaint, police raided Turab Ali's residence but found him absconding. The controversy began when Turab Ali shared two videos on his Facebook account featuring Pakistani Maulanas discussing cow sacrifice during Eid.
One Maulana referred to the act as 'sabaab,' an Urdu term meaning the reward for good deeds from God.

Prajapat claimed that the content of these videos could disrupt social harmony and requested a thorough investigation into Turab Ali's social media posts.
After the FIR was registered, police searched Turab Ali's home but were unable to locate him. They are now conducting raids at possible hideouts to apprehend him.
Mahidpur police station in-charge Narendra Singh confirmed that the controversial video has been sent to the cyber cell for forensic analysis.
