Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Another CCTV footage of Raja and Sonam Raghuwanshi outside a hotel in Sohra surfaced on Friday. In the footage, the couple is seen arriving at the hotel on the same scooter on May 22 afternoon, which was found abandoned the next day.
Both were wearing raincoats, and Sonam was seen in a black and red raincoat, which she later removed and placed in the scooter’s dickey after the couple dropped off their luggage at the hotel reception.
Surprisingly, on Wednesday, Meghalaya police recovered a black and red raincoat with stains. While police suspect it belonged to Sonam, they have not confirmed whether the stains were blood. After leaving their luggage at the hotel, the couple rode away on the scooter.

The minister also spoke to Govid, Sonam's brother who is still searching for in Shillong, over a phone call and assured him of all possible help.
‘SIT formed only on paper’
Sonam’s brother Govind, currently in Meghalaya, said, “It’s been four days since the Meghalaya police formed an SIT to investigate the case, but no one has contacted us even once. The police are conducting search operations for barely two hours a day and show no real interest in finding Sonam. They haven’t even questioned the people we suspect may be involved in Raja’s murder and Sonam’s disappearance.”
