Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh): An inspiring story of health, devotion, and determination has emerged from Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch.
Sunita Choudhary, an 80-year-old woman, has captured nationwide attention after climbing over 10,000 steps at Gujarat’s sacred Girnar Jain Tirth - without any support.
A video of her steady ascent, driven by unwavering faith, has gone viral on social media, leaving viewers in awe.
It is said that Sunita follows Jainism.
Her inspiring ascent on the steps of Girnar Tirth - a revered Jain pilgrimage site - has inspired many, especially as even younger devotees often find the climb challenging.
Sunita is also engaged in several spiritual practices, including fasting and visiting other holy sites multiple times. She has completed the Varshitap fast 3 times and has followed the discipline of Chaturmas 16 times.

Her son, Bhupendra Choudhary, expressed pride in his mother’s dedication to her spiritual journey. He said and average person took 10 hours to climb the stairs but her mother does it within six hours.
He added that her lifestyle, including a Satvik diet and regular routines, contribute significantly to her energy.
Sunita has been following a disciplined eating pattern for years, including having only one meal a day for the last 15 years and giving up dinner for the last 50 years.
As she prepares for another pilgrimage to Girnar, where she will again climb the stairs, Sunita emphasises on the importance of staying connected to spirituality and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
