Badnawar (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking incident unfolded this afternoon between Sabha Manch and Modi Square, where two bike-borne miscreants were planning to snatch a cash-filled bag from a shopkeeper, stabbing him in the process. One accused was caught with the help of a brave bystander, while the other managed to escape.
According to reports, Shreyansh Runwal had withdrawn money from HDFC Bank and noticed two masked men following him. He stopped at his friend Saurabh Chaudhary’s grocery shop near Sabha Manch and shared his concern.

As they prepared to head to Shreyansh’s store, the suspects were spotted nearby. Saurabh tried to intercept them, leading to a chase that ended at Modi Square, where a parked tractor blocked the suspects' path. Saurabh caught the pillion rider, who retaliated with a knife attack, seriously injuring him.
Amritlal Patidar, a local, bravely intervened and they managed to restrain the accused despite being injured himself. Bystanders soon joined in and police were informed. Saurabh was referred to Indore in critical condition, while Patidar received stitches.
Earlier, the same accused reportedly snatched a bag from a showroom cashier, though it was empty. Police suspect the culprits are part of an active gang in the region and are currently interrogating the arrested man.
