Indore's Yug Purush Dham Shuts Down After 12 Kids Die In 6 Months; 86 Differently-Abled Children Shifted To Ujjain
This move came after the transfer of 325 beggars to Ankitgram, Ujjain, earlier in the week, as recommended by Indore Collector Asheesh Singh.

Bhopal/Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): As many as 86 differently-abled children were shifted from Indore's Yuga Purush Dham to Ujjain's Sevadharm Ashram on Thursday. They received a grand welcome with band, baja!
Reportedly, Yuga Purush Dham shelter home was ordered to shut down after 12 children died due to unhygienic water and food facilities in last six months. Over 80 children from the Dham suffered Cholera and were admitted to the hospital in July.
Yug Purush Sham's recognition revoked: Indore Collector
Talking to media persons in the city, Indore Collector Ashish Singh stated, "Based on the incidents at Yugpurush Dham, notices were issued, management changes were made, and its recognition was also revoked. All the residents of the ashram were consensually shifted to Seva Dham. Since Seva Dham already has proper registration, the children from Yugpurush Dham are being relocated there to ensure proper care and supervision."
The children, 34 boys and 52 girls, were welcomed at the Ashram with a traditional ceremony, including a musical procession, floral tributes, and a warm reception by the existing residents. The transfer marks a historic moment, as it is the first time in Madhya Pradesh's history that such a large number of differently abled children have been relocated to a single facility.

This came after 325 beggars were translocated to Ankitgram, Ujjain, earlier in the week, as recommended by Indore Collector Ashish Singh. The transfer was coordinated with the assistance of the Department of Women and Child Development, Indore, led by Assistant Director Jai Parihar.
