Bhopal/Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A murder over an eight-bigha land dispute has surfaced in Kanadiya. The land belonged to a farmer’s family, divided among four brothers and two sisters. It was given to four individuals for farming, but they later claimed ownership.
The deceased, Baboolal Parmar, had filed a complaint with the collector regarding the issue.
On March 27, Baboolal’s body was found near the boundary of a field in Saligam. Police sent the body for post-mortem, which confirmed murder. Following an investigation, three individuals were detained in connection with the case.

Later, three others intercepted him, threatened him, and brutally assaulted him, leading to fatal head injuries.
The murder was linked to a financial disagreement. The accused were offering ₹35 lakh to settle the dispute, but Baboolal demanded ₹1.5 crore. Frustrated, they planned and executed his murder.
