A 6-foot-long cobra was found inside the bathroom of a flat in Bengaluru’s JP Nagar, creating panic among occupants. However, the reptile was soon rescued.
A video of the rescue, which has gone viral online, shows a trained snake rescuer named Rohit calmly handling the situation.

In the video, Rohit is seen entering the house with a hook-ended stick and walking into the bathroom. He spots the cobra coiled behind a bucket and gently moves the bucket away. The snake, seen repeatedly sticking out its tongue, did not scare the rescuer.
Rohit bravely used his rod to catch the cobra. He put the hook across its body and lifted it carefully.
The chilling clip captured him grabbing its tail with his bare hands before placing it into a black cloth bag.
The cobra was perhaps later released safely into the forest.
The video from Bengaluru has been widely shared, with many praising the rescuer's action and calm demeanor of dealing with dangerous snake.

"Looks like cobra has to pay rent now with 10 months deposit", another quipped.
