Indore Delivery Boys Steal Gadgets Worth ₹6 Lakh From Flipkart Parcels; Replaced It With Stones, Salt To Dupe E-Giant
Two delivery boys were arrested for defrauding an e-commerce website by replacing electronic gadgets worth Rs 6 lakh with stones in Tukoganj area, an official said on Wednesday.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two delivery boys were arrested for defrauding an e-commerce company and stealing electronic gadgets worth Rs 6 lakh. The accused would replace the gadgets with stones and salt in the parcel to dupe the company.
They were arrested for breach of trust following a complaint by a Flipkart official. Police have recovered the stolen gadgets.

The accused had stolen gadgets worth Rs 6 lakh in the last six months from the courier service office in South Tukoganj. When the Flipkart officials noticed the irregularity, they approached the police station and filed a complaint.
Tukoganj police station in charge Jitendra Singh said that one Mahendra Singh Sisodhiya from Flipkart lodged a complaint stating that the electronic items ordered online by customers, such as watches, power banks, and tablets, were delivered by Flipkart's delivery boys from its warehouse near the Nath temple.
Duo booked for breach of trust
Two delivery boys identified as Prashant Yadav and Adarsh Verma of Tikamgarh would steal the electronic items from the parcel and replace it with stones and salt and return it to Flipkart. They made it a modus operandi and ended up stealing electronics worth Rs 6,00,000 in the last 6 months.
The police registered a case against the accused under section 316 of BNS and arrested them.
