Indore: City Girl Divyanshi Shines In UPSC 2024 Results

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): "When you are determined to do something, the path is made automatically. The goal is achieved in the fourth attempt, but the courage was high from the first day.
My success story is adorned with struggle, patience and music," shares Divyanshi Pandey, a city girl who is selected in the UPSC 2024 exam with 571st rank, after meeting with collector Asheesh Singh.
Collector Singh, on Thursday, invited her along with her family to facilitate her outstanding success.
Divyanshi, a resident of Sudama Nagar, is from an ordinary middle-class family. Father Harish Pandey decorates the idol of Lord Hanumanji in temples, mother Ranjana is a housewife. She did BSc (Maths) from Holkar Science College.
Despite being from an ordinary family, she had big dreams of serving the country. Even after failing in the prelims three times, she did not give up. She kept patience, and struggled. She continued her studies while living in the city, and also went to Delhi in between. Her hard work paid off in the fourth attempt.

Collector Singh called Divyanshi along with her family and fed her sweets, presented her with a bouquet. He said, "Divyanshi has brought laurels to the city. Her success will inspire more youth."
Uncle became inspirational
In this journey, she got the most inspiration from her uncle Manish Pandey. He is in-charge of the workshop of the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC). Divyanshi says, "If he had not shown faith, then perhaps I would not have tried again."
Hoping to get IPS or IRS cadre
With the hope of getting selected for IRS or IPS, Divyanshi is now moving towards new responsibilities. The story of this city girl is a lesson for every youth today - dream big, keep trying, you will definitely reach your destination.
Interview panel asked to sing 3 songs during interview
Recalling her interview experience, Divyanshi said that when she was asked about her hobby in the UPSC interview, she said "singing".
"The interview panel asked me to sing three songs." Divyanshi impressed everyone with her tunes.
