Air India Suspends Indore-Delhi Flight; Company Cites Aircraft Maintenance & Technical Issue As Reason | Representational Image
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Air India's flight (AI 803/804) from Indore to Delhi has been temporarily suspended by the company till July 15. Air India has cited technical problems and aircraft maintenance as the reason for this.
According to reports, the company has recently started checking all its aircraft, due to which many flights have been stopped across the country. This has now affected Indore as well.
Air India's AI 803/804 is currently closed
Air India's flight AI 803 used to depart from Delhi at 6.40 pm and arrive in Indore at 8.15 pm. After this, AI 804 used to fly from Indore to Delhi at 10.25 pm and reach Delhi at 12.25 am. The last flight operation on this route was on June 20.

Air India has initiated checking aircrafts of all its flights across the country after the accident in Ahmedabad. Many flights have been temporarily halted due to this maintenance process including AI 803/804. However, the company has termed it as "technical reason".
Passengers of the canceled flights are being shifted to other Air India flights. Apart from this, full refund is being given to the passengers who want. Passengers can also change their travel date and take the next flight.

Air India and its subsidiary Air India Express operate flights from Indore to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Goa, Pune and Hyderabad. The total number of these flights is close to 8, out of which about 4 flights are to Delhi.
Some of these flights, like the Hyderabad flight, have been canceled intermittently for some time. Maintenance is also the main reason behind this.
According to Air India sources, this maintenance process is going on across the country. In such a situation, some flights from Indore have also been temporarily stopped. Passengers are being given other options so that their journey is not affected.
