Demonstrators demanded the demolition of the homes belonging to the 11 accused, all of whom have been arrested.
Villagers, along with the Sakal Hindu Samaj, have been protesting in various ways for several days.
On Thursday, protestors once again took to the streets and blocked the Ujjain-Jhalawar National Highway. Upon receiving the news, administrative officials rushed to the spot to persuade the villagers.
Due to the intense heat, the villagers had set up a tent in the middle of the road.
