A father was brutally assaulted in Kaurali village under Chola police station area of Bulandshahr district after he opposed the harassment of his daughter by a local youth.
According to the victim's family, a boy from the same village had been regularly harassing their daughter on her way to and from daily activities. When the girl complained to her father about the persistent harassment, he took the matter to village elders and confronted the accused's family with strong objections.
After the confrontation, a group of men mercilessly beat the victim's father on May 19. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, clearly showing the attackers using kicks, punches, and sticks against the father.
Following the incident, the injured father approached the police station and filed a complaint against the accused. He has requested police protection and demanded strict action against the perpetrators.
"My daughter was being harassed by that boy for many days. When I protested, I was brutally beaten," the victim told authorities. "Now I fear for my daughter's and family's safety."
The City SP confirmed that a complaint has been received and cases have been registered against four individuals based on the father's statement. "The accused will be arrested soon, and security is being provided to the victim's family," the SP stated.
Police have registered a case and begun investigation into the matter. Four suspects have been named in the FIR and arrests are expected soon. Security protection has been arranged for the victim's family while the investigation continues.
