Visakhapatnam: An Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus crushed a woman to death at the Visakhapatnam bus stand. The incident was captured on CCTV installed at the bus stand. Soon, the video of the horrific incident surfaced online.
In the CCTV footage, it could be seen that the bus lost control and rammed into platform number 24 at the bus stand. The incident took place at around 5 pm on Monday, August 11. The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Mutthyalamma. She was a resident of the Vizianagaram district. The incident took place at Dwaraka Nagar bus stand.

Meanwhile, another person sustained minor injuries. “An Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus lost control and rammed into platform number 24 at Visakhapatnam bus stand, killing a 45-year-old woman from Vizianagaram district,” a police official told PTI.
The woman was reportedly crushed between a pillar and the bus. Chaos erupted at the bus stand after the incident.
Woman Slaps APSRTC Driver:
Earlier on Monday, a video surfaced online where woman allegedly slapped the driver of the APSRTC bus for not stopping the vehicle at Nadimivanka village in Sarpaala Mandal. The incident was recorded on camera.
According to a report by Telugu Scribe, after the bus did not stop at Nadimivanka village, the woman overtook the vehicle on a bike and stopped it. She got onto the bus. Soon, chaos erupted inside the bus as the woman started arguing with the driver. The matter escalated and the woman allegedly slapped the driver.
