Uttar Pradesh News: Woman, 3 Children Found Dead In Canal After Domestic Dispute In Banda
The incident took place in Risoura village under Banda Kotwali police limits. According to officials, Reena Devi, 32, left home late Friday night with her children, Himanshu, Anshi, and Prince following an argument with her husband over his late return in an intoxicated state ahead of Raksha Bandhan.

Banda: A woman and her three children were found dead in a canal in Banda district early Saturday, hours after a domestic dispute with her husband. Police said the bodies were tied together with a saree and recovered about one kilometre downstream from where they reportedly entered the water.
The incident took place in Risoura village under Banda Kotwali police limits. According to officials, Reena Devi, 32, left home late Friday night with her children, Himanshu, Anshi, and Prince following an argument with her husband over his late return in an intoxicated state ahead of Raksha Bandhan.
Villagers discovered her bangles, broken saree, and children’s footwear near a canal, prompting a police and diver search.

The husband, identified as Akhilesh, has been taken into custody for questioning. The Additional Superintendent of Police stated that no formal complaint has been filed yet and the case is under investigation.
