Aligarh: The escalating Iran-Israel conflict has cast a shadow over Aligarh Muslim University's Iranian student community, with six scholars maintaining vigilant contact with their families through daily video calls. These students - pursuing diverse programs from BSc to PhD - are receiving real-time updates about the situation in their homeland while the university administration extends support.

Deputy Proctor Prof. Syed Ali Nawaz Zaidi confirmed the university's solidarity, stating, "We're in constant touch through the Intezamia (student governance body)."

The scholars, though continuing academic work, remain deeply concerned about developments.
