Sonbhadra: Panic gripped Tarawan (Badkagaon) village in the Sadar Kotwali area late on Saturday night after villagers spotted a crocodile nearly five feet long wandering close to a house.

According to reports, the reptile was seen around 9:40 pm near a villager’s home, sparking fears that it may have slipped into one of the houses. Within minutes, the news spread like wildfire and residents rushed out of their homes, gathering in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the crocodile.

The sighting has left locals terrified, with many keeping their children indoors. The incident has once again highlighted the growing conflict between humans and wildlife in the region.
