UP: BJP's Gonda District President Under Scrutiny After Video With Woman At Party Office Goes Viral
CCTV footage shows the BJP leader, accompanied by a woman, pausing briefly to embrace before proceeding upstairs.
Bharatiya Janata Party's Gonda district president Amarkishor Bam Bam has found himself at the center of a major controversy following the viral circulation of a CCTV video allegedly showing him in a compromising situation with a female party worker at the BJP office.
The footage, recorded on April 12 at around 9:30 PM, shows Bam Bam arriving at the party office with a woman in his car. CCTV footage shows the BJP leader, accompanied by a woman, pausing briefly to embrace before proceeding upstairs. The video has since gone viral on social media platforms, creating significant turmoil within the BJP organization.
Responding to the controversy, Amarkishor Bam Bam acknowledged the authenticity of the video while providing his version of events. "This video is indeed mine, and it's from April 12. That day, the female worker suddenly fell ill. She was experiencing dizziness and wanted to rest for some time. I provided her support on humanitarian grounds," he explained.
The district president has alleged that the incident is part of a larger conspiracy against him. "This is a plot by people who don't want me to remain the district party president. Some people are continuously trying to tarnish my image," he claimed, suggesting political motivations behind the video's circulation.
According to reports, the BJP organisation has taken the matter seriously. Party high command has been informed about the viral video, and a confidential letter detailing the complaint and facts has been sent to the state president. The party leadership is expected to take further action based on their investigation.
