Shimla: A horrifying video has emerged from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, showing a bulldozer plunging 300 meters into a gorge. The bulldozer tumbled while attempting to clear debris from a hill road, veered off the steep path and plunged over 300 metres into a gorge. The video is going viral on social media.

The video shows, the bulldozer hitting multiple sections of the hillside road before falling down. Reportedly, the condition of the driver is said to be serious.

 Malana-I Hydropower Project Dam Collapses

Earlier in the day, a scary video showing the moment a cofferdam, part of the Malana-I Hydropower Project in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district, collapsed amid flash floods was going viral. 

The incident was caused due to incessant heavy rains on Friday. The incident caused panic in the downstream areas of the dam. Fortunately, no casualties were reported from this incident. The video has gone viral on social media.

Himachal Pradesh Rains

The state has reported a total of 95 rain-related deaths and 78 fatalities due to road accidents during the ongoing monsoon season, according to a cumulative loss report released by the State Disaster Management Authority of the state. The report covers the period from June 20 to July 31.

IMD Predictions

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in parts of the hilly state on August 4.
