Mumbai: Tamil Nadu Minister and DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin is in the headlines over his remarks against Sanatana Dharma. Stalin compared Sanatana Dharma with diseases like malaria and dengue and said that it has to be eradicated. Udhayanidhi Stalin also said that he did not mean genocide and BJP is twisting his statement. He also said that he stands firmly with his remarks. He is also the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also reacted over his son Udhayanidhi Stalin's remarks against Sanatana Dharma. MK stalin came out in support of his son's remarks and said that he expressed his views on Sanatana Dharma priciples that discrimate the people on the basis of the caste. MK Stalin also said that his son did not had any intention to hurt the religion or religious beliefs. He also slammed the BJP for spreading a flase narrative and said that the party is unable to tolerate other people's views on Sanatana.

MK Stalin issued a statement over Udhayanidhi Stalin's remarks and said "He expressed his views on Sanatan principles that discriminate against Scheduled Castes, Tribals, and Women, with no intention to offend any religion or religious beliefs... Pro-BJP forces are unable to tolerate his stance against oppressive principles and have spread a false narrative, alleging that Udhayanidhi called for the genocide of people with Sanatan thoughts."
MK Stalin targets PM Modi
MK Stalin further said "It is disheartening to hear from the national media that the PM mentioned that Udhayanidhi's remarks need a proper response during a meeting of his council of ministers. The Prime Minister has access to all the resources to verify any claim or report. So, is the Prime Minister speaking unaware of the lies spread about Udhayanidhi, or does he do so knowingly?"
