Roorkee: A shocking incident surfaced from Uttarakhand's Roorkee, where a woman was run over by an SUV on Sunday. The incident was captured on camera. Its video soon went viral on social media, The woman died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Kirti. The incident took place near Jadugar Road in the Roorkee Kotwali area. The was was a resident of the Khanjarpur area. From the visuals, the SUV seemed to be Renault Duster.

The video shows Kirti walking with an umbrella when a white-coloured SUV coming from the opposite direction ran over her. However, the immediately stopped the car, but Kirti got trapped under the vehicle. People present at the spot rushed to rescue the woman.

Woman Ran Over BY High-Speeding BEST Bus In Mumbai In April:
Earlier in April this year, a 35-year-old woman lost her life after she was run over by a BEST bus. The incident occurred around in front of St. Michael's Church on Swami Vivekanand Road. The woman was reportedly sitting on the roadside when a speeding BEST bus, coming from the Mori Road direction, ran over her. As per eyewitnesses, the driver was operating the vehicle recklessly and at high speed. The woman sustained severe head injuries.
